For those of you who don't memorize the vast number of standards, that's wifi, or WLAN. In fact these bits are being placed into the wide world of the web by the combination of D-Link wifi gear and the marvels of an acer C100 laptop. With the joys of both wireless freedom and Windows XP Tablet Edition, I can lay here in bed and quite literally write the evenings blog entry. (With thanks to Ben for the higher-gain aerial for the access point which means I can stretch the coverage to the bedroom)
